Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Chitravan Studio ("Service"), operated by Chitravan Technologies("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Chitravan Studio is an AI-powered creative platform that enables users to generate scripts, voiceovers, keyframe images, video clips, and complete short-form videos using third-party AI models. The Service is provided on a credit-based model. Credits are consumed when AI generation tasks are performed.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service.
  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent credit limits is prohibited.

3. Credits & Payments

  • Credits are a virtual currency used to pay for AI generation tasks. Credits have no real-world monetary value outside the Service and are non-transferable between accounts.
  • New accounts receive a one-time welcome credit bonus as stated at the time of registration. This bonus is subject to change without notice.
  • Paid credit packs are processed via Razorpay. All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Credits do not expire and are not subject to subscription cycles.
  • Unused credits may be refunded in accordance with our Refund Policy.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to generate, distribute, or promote content that:

  • Is illegal under applicable Indian or international law.
  • Infringes any intellectual property rights of third parties.
  • Is sexually explicit, obscene, or involves minors in any harmful manner.
  • Incites violence, hatred, or discrimination based on race, religion, gender, or other characteristics.
  • Constitutes spam, phishing, or any form of fraudulent communication.
  • Impersonates any person, entity, or brand in a misleading way.
  • Is intended to deceive others by presenting AI-generated content as authentic without disclosure.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these restrictions without prior notice.

5. Intellectual Property

Your content: You retain ownership of any original creative inputs (scripts, ideas, prompts) you provide to the Service. For AI-generated outputs produced through your use of the Service, you are granted a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, distribute, and display those outputs for personal and commercial purposes, subject to applicable law and these Terms.

Our platform: The Service, including its design, code, trademarks, and platform assets (the pre-built library of clips, images, and music), is owned by or licensed to the Company. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the platform itself.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service uses third-party AI providers including but not limited to Anthropic, fal.ai, ElevenLabs, and Kling. Generation quality, availability, and pricing are subject to those providers' systems. We are not responsible for outages or quality variations caused by third-party services. Credits consumed on failed generations are restored automatically where technically feasible.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or for any other reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Unused credits at the time of Company- initiated termination (without cause) will be refunded. Credits are not refunded for user-initiated account deletions.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India. We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any issue informally before pursuing legal action.
